Thousand Wish Project
What is your wish? Create your own “Volossom” with us!
“Volossom” is a concept InJung Oh created as a visual representation of wish or will blossoming. “Vol”, in prefix meaning wish/will, is combined with “blossom”. The shape of Volossom is an image of a female, the artist herself, floating in the sky as a giant flower.
InJung, the founder of OH Art Foundation, realizes that everyone has their own wish. With her mission to address the critical needs for accessible, inclusive, culturally-relevant fine arts programming for the South Side community, Oh started offering ongoing hands-on community art workshops and invited the community members to create their own Volossom.
What is your wish? How will you make it blossom? We invite you to reflect on your wish, and explore with your creativity to visually manifest it, and share with the community.
